Skins: the Soundtrack is a series of cds that compile songs that were featured in each Series of Skins.

The fifth series began airing on E4 on 27 January and ended on 17 March Franky starts at Roundview and is determined not to be a loner. Things seem to be going well until she accidentally challenges Mini's position as queen bee, and when she doesn't conform to Mini's expectations, she's spat out. Franky then meets Matty, who understands and empowers her, giving her the strength to stand up to Mini. Grace admires Franky, and a new gang is formed, with Alo, Rich and Grace.

Sign up. Sign in. Simon Cocks. One of the biggest issues facing Series 5 of Skins is one that has been present since the show began. Because of its format, which focuses on a specific character in each separate episode, Skins is always more likely to have strong individual episodes rather than strong overall series-long story arcs. This structure, while occasionally allowing Skins to be unique and great like it was last week, often makes the series incredibly inconsistent. The plot of the hour centred on the character of Rich, someone who seemingly defines himself merely by the fact that he likes metal music. Aside from Grace, the episode largely ignores the other cast members, with the mysterious Matty completely absent. Along with the instalment being poorly plotted, the acting on display was also relatively weak, especially in comparison to last week. As I previously indicated, I thought Grace was still fantastic. Her character is one that remains intriguing, particularly due to the way in which she switches between two rather separate social groups. Read my latest reviews at simonc.
