When I close the DLC's window and reopen it via manage addons the download button's blue again and so I can repeat the same thing over and over without the app downloading anything. I'll try the method with reinstalling origin to hopefully trigger the download as soon as I get home and get back to you as to how it went. Yes if you live in the UK you can get your money back. Even though the message about switching to the EA App was there and i couldn't click on anything in the Origin app, Origin started to automatically verify my content and downloaded the missing DLC. I've now followed directions for removing the EA app completely, wiping out all references to it in the Windows registry, and re-installing it.

I purchased the newest pack for Sims4 Growing Together. It's not in my game and when going on my account in EA it shows where you can download it but it's grayed out and inaccessible.
