This object is built with the Invention Constructor , and cannot be purchased without the use of cheats. It requires 2 common metals and 2 common crystals to be constructed. The cloning machine can be used to duplicate most collectibles, which is useful for creating multiple copies of the ingredients required for making serums or other craftables. There is a chance that the cloning process may fail, creating a "Rudimentary matter cube", described as "a basic building block of inert elements molded into an undeveloped form", to be produced instead of the duplicated collectible. The cloning machine can also be upgraded to clone Sims if the scientist Sim is a level 8 in the career. The clone will have the same physical appearance, clothing, traits and skills as the original Sim, but will not have their career or relationships. The newly cloned Sim will have the same last name as the Sim that they were cloned from, and a randomized first name.

So I've been playing with my little Sim version of myself for a while and she's done a lot of aspirations, degrees, and maxed out a lot of skills, so I'd kinda like to start from scratch with her. So I tried to start over and found the easiest way to do it was to create a biological twin I edited heavily. It was nice, but I'd really just like to create a physical duplicate of the Sim I initially made and am attached to and be able to also add her into my existing family genealogy-wise. Just edit the sim in CAS and upload it to your library. You can download them again into a new save. If you want them to start fresh, you'll have to use cheats. Just save them to your library.

The cloning machine was introduced in The Sims 4: Get to Work and allows your sims to duplicate a number of items, and eventually even a sim! In this guide we are going to talk about how to get a cloning machine as well as how to use it. Then type in bb. To find the cloning machine you can go into build mode and use the search bar in the bottom left hand corner and type in cloning machine and it should pop up. The best one is that you can clone food so this means that you could pretty much never cook again if you use it correctly!
