Sid is a character in Flushed Away. He is an overweight sewer rat who ends up in Roddy's apartment one night after he is shot through the pipes while sitting in a pub in the sewers. He declares the apartment as his and tries to force Roddy to be his butler. When Roddy tries to flush Sid back, Sid outsmarts him and pushes Roddy in, flushing him down the sewers. Later when Roddy calls up the apartment, Sid has visibly made the apartment filthy, not caring for breaking things or cleaning up. Once Roddy and Rita get back the next day, he's shocked to see Roddy has found his way back. Roddy, not wanting to admit to Rita he is alone, tries to play Sid off as his brother "Rupert. After Rita leaves, Roddy, angry at Sid for all that he's endured in the sewers, tries to cope with his situation and stands up for himself, taking Sid's drink and chugging it down. Sid tells him to take it easy, as he'll have to pee before half-time, and Sid doesn't want to miss a second of the game. Roddy puts it together that The Toad is going to drown the rats of the sewers and forces Sid to the bathroom. Sid, thinking Roddy is going to flush him back, pleads with him to spare him, saying he's too accustomed to life above. Roddy smacks him and tells him to flush him back, making Sid promise he'll be good to Tabitha, the little girl who owns him.
