Tibby is a female, one year old shepherd mix who came from a different shelter and has been with the Dog and Cat Shelter of Sheridan Wyoming since Nov. She is a huge softie and loves hugs. Our rescue is no-kill, meaning we only euthanize animals that are in untreatable pain or suffering from disease. This also means that we must limit our admissions, and can only accept cats into the rescue when some of our current cats are adopted into loving homes. In our shelter started on Fort street with a modest building and the hopes to help the animals and the people who lived in Sheridan County. For many years our shelter helped as much as they could but found the need outweighed the space, so they took the necessary steps and got the facility we use now built.
