S heffield Steelers have been forced to block over social media accounts after one of their players has been the target of online abuse. During Saturday's ice hockey game between Sheffield Steelers and The Nottingham Panthers, Panthers' player Adam Johnson tragically died in a 'freak accident' aged just He was accidentally struck by a blade in the neck during the game and the match was abandoned as the ice hockey star was taken to hospital. Most of the comments are completely unrelated to Sheffield and Nottingham and hockey in general and most of them are from overseas.
