The company had long controlled GameShark, the weapon of choice for cheaters and code heads worldwide. When InterAct hit the rocky road the future of the GameShark brand was in jeopardy. In stepped Mad Catz, who picked up the brand and the official website for a pittance. However, it took a few months for the Mad Catz GameShark to get rolling. CodeJunkies struck the hot iron and introduced their own game enhancer, Action Replay, to the US market.
