Regent really delivers luxury and at a high level. Naturally, there are occasional blips but this inevitable and does not take any from the overall experience. The service culture is evident, seven seas cruises reviews. Management is visible and engaged in daily operations.

Unfortunately, The Regent Experience was not even close to what we were expecting. The staff is great and friendly, but there is no leadership and lack of training. Originally from South Carolina, Elizabeth moved to New York City from London, where she started her career as a travel blogger and writer. The luxury cruise line's sixth ship, the Seven Seas Grandeur, set sail for its inaugural season at the end of With a maximum of guests per sailing, Grandeur is a far cry from mega-ships where pool crowds and buffet lines are the norm. With spacious all-suite, all-balcony accommodations and intimate specialty restaurants, the ship felt lively but never crowded. In fact, although my mom and I were tempted by the unlimited included shore excursions at our port in the Bahamas, we opted to stay on board to experience every amenity the ship had to offer. Here, my review of the Regent Seven Seas Grandeur. On Grandeur , guest accommodations range from the entry-level Veranda Suites to the one-of-a-kind, 4,square-foot Regent Suite. Deluxe Veranda and Veranda Suites offer up to square feet of space, outfitted with upscale finishes and, of course, their own balconies. I stayed in a Concierge Suite, of which there are on board. With a super-comfortable Elite Slumber bed facing the balcony, a very spacious walk-in closet, and a bathroom with two sinks, a shower, and a separate tub, this suite offered plenty of storage and lots of room to spread out. Besides the bright and open design in ocean-inspired hues of blue and cream, I loved the attention to detail in my suite, down to the field glasses sitting in the cabinet, ready to help you spot wildlife or faraway islands. There are seven unique dining venues and several bars located throughout the ship, and specialty restaurants are included in the rate. Over new dishes were added to the menus on Grandeur , and there are more than plant-based options served across the ship for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The entrance to Pacific Rim, a pan-Asian specialty restaurant serving sushi, dim sum, and more, is marked by an impressive bonsai cherry tree sculpture by Savoy Studios.

Part I — Celebrity Silhouette vs. Regent Seven Seas Voyager — August This is a rant. But, alas, if you do…read on! I read reviews for most cruise lines written by guests from different countries. I read them all skeptically and with my focus on picking up facts rather than the reviewers conclusions.

Regent lays claim to be the most inclusive experience among the major luxury cruise lines. Of course, such pampering doesn't come cheap but, once you're on the ship, the only things you have to put your hand in your pocket for are spa treatments, super-premium wines and spirits, splurges in the boutiques, puffing a Cohiba cigar and pitting your wits against Lady Luck in the casino. Everything else -- including flights, shore excursions, beverages and onboard gratuities -- is included in the price, so there are no unexpected hidden extras that might give you palpitations at the end of the trip. Seven Seas Voyager is a relaxing ship with a cultured but informal ambiance and a high crew-to-passenger ratio. Crew members are polite, proactive and pleasant; minimal announcements and a lack of queues enhance the feeling of refinement.
