The Sennheiser HD1 Over-Ear are average headphones for most use cases with a decently well-balanced sound. They're a great-looking and well-built pair of wired over-ears with a good bass, low leakage and easy to use controls. Unfortunately, they're not the most comfortable over-ears that we've tested. They also tend to sound a bit dark overall due to their recessed treble range. They also won't be as practical as the noise cancelling and wireless HD1. They're passive and won't be as versatile as the noise-canceling wireless version, but they have a good sound and a sturdy, durable design.
