The Gators beat Mississippi State and Alabama by a combined score of Tennessee and Mississippi made it to the semifinals by winning their past two games after both lost their tournament opener Tuesday. Even though all four teams are likely going to be invited to the NCAA tournament when the field is announced Monday, winning an SEC tournament title goes a long way for seeding purposes. A team like Mississippi or Florida could secure a top seed and host a regional with at least one more win.
