Ruin-Strewn Precipice is a dungeon in Elden Ring. A series of caves winding up the cliffs, joining Liurnia to the Altus Plateau. This dungeon can be used as an alternative route to the Grand Lift of Dectus in order to access Altus. Ruin strewn precipice lower levels of the dungeon consist of a series of mineshafts, illuminated by crystals, housing glintstone miners and Vulgar Militiamen.

Magma Wyrm Makar can be found at Ruin-Strewn Precipice , a dungeon located in the extreme north of Liurnia, raised above the northern end of the ravine to the northeast of Bellum Church. The Wyrm also has a tendency, if there is a bit of distance between you and it, to spit a magma ball at you which explodes in a small AOE and settles on the ground. Both of these attacks, whilst highly damaging if you get caught in them, are heavily telegraphed by the Wyrm rearing its head back and opening its mouth with an orange glow building there. It's difficult to discern between the two attack animations, but both require the same strategy; dodge-roll to the side as a precaution, if it's the spit you will have dodged the ball and can charge the Wyrm, if its the charge, keep dodge-rolling and get up behind it to get some easy hits.
