I never wanted a shooter's sling on there, I don't use my stainless international for precision shooting, only fun plinking. IF you are going to use it for shooting you will want one that you can use around your arm in a loop.

They also have leather. Thanks in advance! One would think a steel rifle barrel would be rigid enough to prevent it from flexing but that only happens with bull barrels. Never considered that before. They have indeed upgraded their thumb screws according to the pics I'm seeing. The other slings would more or less stay put on my shoulder but it was best if I kept a hand on it just to be sure it wouldn't slide off. A sling that will last you a lifetime. I had always used a neoprene sling for my deer rifle when hunting mule deer in Wyoming. That was my main reason for getting it. The loop is located under the diamond on the stock.
