You knowroon community, I for one would pay for a Mosaic service as roon community option to the free. Just a solid bit more robust functionality DCS product that supports the brand. The connectivity set up would be most important and it already interfaces with Qobuz and Tidal. I just feel DCS owners would actually like some exclusivity in a product.
Previsouly I used Mosaic control the music play and found it easy to use. It seems quite intersting to me why is there a difference of sound quality. Anyone has a chance to make a similar comparison? Any comment is welcomed. About a year ago now I thought so too; that Mosaic sounded better than the same track played back via Roon and even posted on this forum claiming so.

Goodmorning everyone. According to those who have had concrete experiences in this regard, does the Naim app with the Qubuz provider generally sound better or different than the roon labs system used without resorting to oversampling or equalization? Thank you all for the answers and any insights. No they both sound the same to me on my Atom. But Roons way of managing my library, multiroom and integration of my own media and Qobuz wins hands down. I have a Star and an Atom HE and am unable to hear a difference between the two on both Uniti devices. I am using Roon exclusively as listening source these days. The sound of the Naim app has a better soundstage, and the sound is overall clear. The small details and nuances of a track are more perceptible like giving to the tv a little more sharpness. But I use roon and only when comparing directly the same track I identify this changes, I get better sound from the Naim app unfortunately the app is not very good. Bluesound has a superior app not by far but better. The roon experience is far superior in the app usage and I live easily with the quicks, Maybe is my roon server and need to get a dedicated server exclusively for roon. Take into account that the NDX 2 is solid upgrade from the Uniti products so it will reveal even more than they can.
It's already on the app.
What is Roon? It's not the easiest music service to explain. The fact that Roon Labs has its own, dedicated Roon Knowledge website is a testament to that. The shortest way to describe Roon is that it's a membership-based, multi-device, multi-room music software platform. Roon organises your digital music library across various sources, cleans up your files and their metadata, and directs the music to your motley crew of Roon-compatible hi-fi kit.
How do you edit things like your user name under account preferences? Plus, why does Roon not provide documentation for these basic issues? As you may have noticed, the Discourse software that powers our Community defaults to your full name when setting up your profile. Want to use a different name? No pro….

Perceptual bias is a real thing that actually effects our listening. The operational paradigm is simple and efficient. But once one has normalized the delivery mechanism—testing on the same USB setup or the same Ethernet setup—then bit-perfect is in fact a surrogate for SQ in this context. It all looks like one library regardless of the source of the music. The connectivity set up would be most important and it already interfaces with Qobuz and Tidal. Bought a Rossini Today! It improved the ability to draw on user metadata to more accurately tailor music recommendations. That stream also happens to include further MQA information. As for Roon v. Previously, playback on most Android devices stuttered like crazy and had random, loud static pops and cracks that could damage your hearing. Yes, there are cheaper ways to do it NUC etc… but for me, the Nucleus is a lovely piece of kit, and works flawlessly with dCS. It took a couple months for that problem to get fixed, too. I keep an eye on Roon Community metadata queries and although there seems some improvement there still seem to be a majority of posts about classical music attributions which concerns me it being a minority genre so they should be amongst the fewest instead. Given what it has done for me. Roon is great as an automatic jukebox app and as a Tidal controller, but I've gotta say, for people with big collections that they like flipping through and browsing, it's just badly designed for the purpose.
It's responsible for organizing your music collection, accessing and integrating with streaming services like TIDAL, Qobuz, or KKBOX, and controlling music playback on various devices, including networked speakers, connected amplifiers, and mobile devices.
The main advantage of the roon is not the interface and design, but the sound quality. I have experienced superb, indistinguishable SQ from those other offerings as well. It's the conductor of your music streaming orchestra. In a Roon set-up, though, it's not the music streamer that decodes the files. I am using Roon exclusively as listening source these days. Hi- Fi check. It also handles all the software updates. Elegantly simple and high performance. In fact, most devices with Chromecast built-in should also be detectable by your Roon Core. Look out for 'Roon Ready' certification on your playback devices. I have no proof of any volume difference, though, so am just curious whether others thought the same. We covered this above but just in case you're skim reading as if? They're not guaranteed for the highest levels of audio quality but all Roon Tested devices have been checked and profiled by Roon to make sure that the software is configured to help these endpoints work at their very best.
In my opinion it already was discussed, use search.
