Not a big place, but very welcoming. All Covid precautions were taken and we were shown to out table. An extensive choice of drinks - especially ciders. Great arrangement!

The food we had was excellent, I had a great steak and chips, and a beautiful fry up in the morning. Rooms are newly furbished and very cozy and clean. Best to book in advance to avoid disappointment especially for Sunday roast as it is very popular. Well done spice merchant! Yummy food. It's also a great location and child friendly. Discovered the wonders of luxury steak and ale pie, the chips sauce was delicious. Basics, but just what we need.

The pub that was falling into the sea is now under the wing of the nearby 'Smugglers Inn', itself an excellent pub restaurant. Highly recommend. A group of 17 of us 8 adults and 9 children decided to eat out. There is a good choice of well kept beers, wines and spirits and the Pizzas are excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.
