I followed the guide, downloaded the drivers from the intel website I have an intel processor , I let the installer uninstall the previous realtek drivers and after restarting my laptop HP I ran the executable one more time and waited for the installation to finish. The progress bar got stuck and sat at the same position for about 2 hours. Thinking it was a good idea, I decided to open up my task manager and close the installer manually , as there was no option to close it from the installer.
