This long-range rifle can be purchased from the gunsmith in Blackwater, which is the only way to obtain it. The Buffalo Rifle prides itself on its incredible damage output and is arguably the best rifle in Red Dead Redemption in regard to stopping power. Legendary animal fleeing?

The Lancaster Repeater is a well-rounded gun, it's available in all the gunsmith stores, but you can get it for free in an exciting mission that includes rescuing a kidnapped young man from the basement of a store. This rare Double-Barreled Shotgun is faded brass tarnish and adorned with carvings. Its owner is a paranoid guy who shoots anyone who gets close to his house.

The LeMat Revolver can fire 9 revolver shots before needing to reload, but it also contains a second barrel that fires a single shotgun shell, which can catch enemies by surprise. This rifle is designed to stop anything with one shot, and you should since it only has a single bullet clip. This thing is deadly in close quarters, and it makes for a great hunting weapon with its high accuracy, impressive fire rate, and cone-shaped blast. That's usually how my playthroughs goes, anyway.
