Ok got my battery charged installed my rx in my Strada drifter has sniper v12 esc and firebolt15t motor but it's not going fast enough in forwards to drift but going in reverse is a hell of a lot faster than forwards this is the set up. It's brushed bud. Had the same problem with my lil bro's car using that ESC make sure when turn the car and controller on that you go forwards first and if that don't cure it try reversing the throttle channel. Always do go forward first bud didn't make a difference, all that does is make the trigger push forward for forward an pull in for reverse. Just had a play with my bro's car. Try going backwards first so pushing trigger is forwards than reversing the throttle channel.

Remember Me Forgot Password? Nov 09, , PM. Thread OP. I have calibrated the Throttle range as per the manual in every way I can think of, with the TX channel 2 reversed and normal, calibrated the throttle reverse instead of forward. It always ends up with the reverse much faster? The ESC direction is probably reversed , thinks its going backwards when its going forwards , you need to change the ESC settings for forward and reverser and channel reverse on the transmitter. The motor will be equally fast in both directions. Your ESC may be setup incorrectly where you are getting more speed in reverse then the forward direction. Check your ESC settings. Nov 10, , AM. What RC platform are you running?

We all love driving our RC cars as fast as they can go, but for some of us driving them in reverse is faster. This could be down to a few things, none of which are particularly tricky to fix and in this article we go through diagnosing the reason why your RC car goes faster in reverse and how to fix that problem. The first thing we would suggest to do is to actually take the shell off your RC car and check for any obvious problems. This could be things like damaged cogs, broken or loose wires, damaged circuit boards or any other things lodged within the mechanics of the RC car. If there is anything broken you should try ordering that part from the manufacturer or your local RC store and fit it. If you have checked the obvious signs and come up with nothing the next thing to do is dive a little deeper into understanding why your RC car is going faster in reverse. First, we will start with the motor. Check that the two wires going to the motor are both intact and soldered onto the motor. If the two wires are ok you should check your manufactures handbook and make sure that the polarity of the wires is connected to the correct terminals.

Remote Controlled cars are designed to move forward, but some RC cars come with a reverse switch that makes moving faster in reverse possible. The downside, driving fast in reverse might be dangerous, especially on the race track. If your RC car is faster in reverse, the problem could be from a technical glitch, which could be due to a power failure, motor malfunction, or timing issue. An RC car moving faster in reverse is not normal. It occurs when there is a failure or an issue with your RC car or the transmitter. RC cars are not supposed to go faster in reverse, therefore it is a problem that needs to be solved when this happens. When your car goes faster in reverse, the most common cause could be a mechanical failure. Plus, high reversing speed could happen due to one or more of these reasons:. When your car starts going faster in reverse than it does in forward, it becomes an issue and you always fear the worst. If your remote-controlled car is electric, it uses either a brushed or brushless motor.

If it isn't a fixed endbell, the endbell might have come loose and retarded the timing.
