An artistically talented Pokemon fan has created their own design of a future Paradox form for the classic Legendary Raikou. The artist decided to post their creation online, which comes complete with its own statistics as well as some homebrewed background lore. Raikou is a Legendary Electric-type Pokemon introduced as part of Pokemon 's second generation. Raikou is one-third of the trio known as the Legendary Beasts who, along with Entei and Suicune, were resurrected by Ho-Oh after the burning of Brass Tower. Raikou had largely been out of the spotlight until its extremely divisive Paradox form, Raging Bolt, was recently revealed.

After first being teased in Scarlet and Violet 's respective books with sketches of amalgamated forms of the series' Swords of Justice and Legendary Beasts, the initial reveal of Virizion's and Suicune's Paradox forms was met with confusion since neither seemed to match what had been teased. But now with Iron Crown and Raging Bolt, these sketches have a new context. Between anticipating that these Paradox Pokemon would be a combined trio to the introduction of Iron Leaves and Walking Wake, it was unclear whether Scarlet and Violet 's sketches were red herrings , especially when the two were added before any DLC and not during. The reveal of Paradox forms for Cobalion and Raikou, however, and confirmation that they would become available with The Teal Mask portion of the DLC has revived previous fan theories. With a second part of the DLC also in Scarlet and Violet 's future and with Terrakion and Entei left in their trios, it seems that there are two more Paradox Pokemon yet to come. Though they weren't the exclusive focus of the latest trailer and the breakdown of what to expect for Scarlet and Violet 's DLC, the revealed designs of Paradox Cobalion and Raikou were met with mixed reactions, especially for Raikou's giraffe-like neck. Regardless, their addition to Scarlet and Violet alongside their predecessors Iron Leaves and Walking Wake has given players a better perspective on the short-term future of Paradox Pokemon. So while these new Ancient and Future forms have focused mainly on Legendary Pokemon, this could still hold potential for new Paradox forms based on more standard Pokemon either in Gen 9 or beyond. The renewed interest in Paradox Pokemon alongside their association with Scarlet and Violet 's DLC does suggest a deeper connection to the bigger picture of the mysterious Area Zero. Coupled with the showcase adding a montage of historic sketches of expedition crews and the strange cave markings that have left players scratching their heads, Game Freak's plan seems to be building towards a grand finale in Area Zero and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This is only strengthened by rumors about future Pokemon projects that could be announced as the follow-up to Scarlet and Violet. But beyond Game Freak's future Pokemon games, the recent reveal of Iron Crown and Raging Bolt seems to confirm a much simpler suspicion among fans, which is that there will be two more Paradox forms added for Terrakion and Entei.
