We bought tickets to take a tour of the Quinte Museum of Natural History this morning, located in Trenton where we live. Thanks to Mike Gaudaur for letting us know via Facebook. They just opened and are looking to expand and make it bigger and better.

Since its inception, the Quinte Museum of Natural History has endeavoured to be a place of learning and discovery in the region. Over the past two years, its pop-up exhibitions have not only showcased the wonders of natural history but also fostered a deep sense of community engagement and curiosity. The museum is immensely proud to have welcomed over 29, visitors from the local region and beyond, offering them enriching and educational experiences. The jaw-dropping exhibit features replications of dinosaurs and creatures that roamed the earth millions of years ago. The museum partnered with Trenton-based company Research Casting International to produce the dinosaur skeletons displayed in the exhibit. A small group from Lower Trent Conservation got one of the first looks at the museum on Wednesday. The new museum is now open three days a week, Friday through Sunday, and booking ahead is a must.
