It lifts my Mountaineer with ease. It is a nice lift for a garage that can not accommodate a standard garage lift high ceilings. That Costco lift looks interesting If I had one and lifted any car I would have jack stands at all 4 corners as an insurance feature. As far as getting underneath a car on the lift and jack stands, I don't think that I would do it. But that would come in handy for brake and front end work.
