These squads are comprised of athletes who qas volleyball been identified by Volleyball Australia coaches and National Pathway Talent Identification scouts. We encourage all of our athletes to participate in these other programs simultaneously with their QAS training to create a daily training regimen. The Emerging Talent Squad is an initiative of the QAS Volleyball Program and Volleyball Australia that will develop grassroots volleyball players targeting 15 years and younger and will teach fundamental movement skills as well as volleyball-specific techniques. The Emerging Talent program aims to run several regional camps each year to offer high-performance volleyball coaching to regional athletes residing outside of South-East Queensland. We encourage athletes to adopt the growth mindset required for high-performance athletes to succeed at the next level of competition.

Tryouts TBD at this time. You only need to attend one of the scheduled tryouts. Registration will remain open until July 9th. See the Registration section for more information. For 5 th Grade and below divisions, the line up sheet will indicate the order of play of the entire team, for the entire match, qas volleyball.

Volleyball Queensland VQ is the state organisation for volleyball focused on increasing participation and pathways in all forms of indoor volleyball and beach volleyball throughout Queensland. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo Beach volleyball is a team sport played by two teams of two players on a sand court divided by a net. Each team works in unison to prevent the opposing team from grounding the ball on their side of the court. Spikezone is a program for primary school players. It has a smaller court, a lower net and a softer ball and of course only four players on court. If teams have more than four players, substitutions rotate on to play each time the team wins a point on the opposition serve.
