If you were lucky you could get water or electricity for up to 1 month but if you were unlucky it shuts down even at day 1. Moreover, both weren't bind together.

The part about putting it outside is incredibly crucial because if you put it in a closed place, like inside your house, you can die from gas inhalation. They allow you to build your own house in your best base location in Project Zomboid , they even allow you to build rain collectors so you don't run out of water. Cause if I remember right 2 years ago it was not set to a certain date in survival mode. Followers 1. But the water should be something like the water goes out and then you have decreasing water pressure over a certain number of days which is probably more realistic.
