Project zomboid best melee weapons

I cant find decent info on this so I thought I;d get peoples opinions. Personally I'm finding the metal bar to be far the best, as it can be used well on multiples one handed. But it's also a building material so maybe I should be keeping them back for that? Spears seem great but just break to quickly. Also just as a side, what guns are worth never using?
Project zomboid best melee weapons
If you're a fan of zombie survival games , you've probably heard a thing or two about Project Zomboid in the last few years. Even though it's been in development for over ten years, it continues to be popular due to the reintroduction of multiplayer. Even though the game also has firearms, they will usually lead to your untimely death due to the noise, so melee weapons will usually be your main zombie disposal tools. But figuring out which of them is the best when starting out is easier said than done, especially since there are a lot of them. So let's have a look at some of the best melee weapons that Project Zomboid has on offer. One of the easiest weapons to find in Zomboid, the Metal Bar — or its brethren the Lead Pipe and the Metal Pipe — are the most basic short blunt weapons in the game. There is an abundance of them in most industrial areas, warehouses, and garages. A nice trick is the fact that certain destructible parts of the environment, such as fences or gates, will yield a few bars or pipes when destroyed. If you're sorely lacking a melee weapon then getting some zombies to take down a fence will fix your problem. A police officer's main melee weapon, nightsticks are a pretty good find in the world of Project Zomboid. They can be dropped by zombie policemen, or found inside their patrol cars and police stations. The best part about the nightstick is the fact that it loses durability a lot more slowly than many of the other short blunt weapons. While the damage isn't exactly amazing, and it lacks range, it makes up for it with fast swings and a small amount of knockback. The one weapon that lets you channel your inner MC. The simple hammer comes in multiple varieties, such as a regular hammer, ball-peen hammer, and even a wooden mallet.
Simple enough question.
Even a decade after its release, Project Zomboid keeps attracting a horde of new players. First released in , the game had a rocky start, but with Build 41, a major update released in , the game made a strong comeback. In order to survive in Project Zomboid, you will need to find a weapon fast. Some weapons are harder to find or craft, and others may be more powerful but too loud. Finding the most suitable weapon for your gameplay may take a while, but it is worth it. The Baseball Bat makes a great starter weapon and is one of the better melee weapons in Project Zomboid.

Project zomboid best melee weapons
The zombie-infested world of Project Zomboid makes for a pretty punishing survival game. Running from crowds of zombies can be a huge challenge, and only the right combination of strategy and dumb luck will see you come out alive. One of the biggest beginner mistakes is getting too excited when you find a gun and popping off zombies left and right.
Pantalones joes
Don't worry those brainy bits just add a little flavor. Coming out on top of our list we have the machete, the best short-bladed weapon that you can get in the game. Frying pans are good for utility, hand axes seem to have pretty high 1v1 capabilities. However, this weapon's greatest drawback is the inability to repair it, keeping it from the number one spot; once it's broken, it's broken. Clearly the best long blunt weapon in the game, the baseball bat has excellent damage and range with a good swing speed. The Garden Fork belongs to the category of spears and can be used both as a two-handed and one-handed weapon. You can easily break down barricades and floors with it, and it has the highest durability. Both are two-handed weapons that can be equipped on your survivor's back. Pipes are good in a pinch. First released in , the game had a rocky start, but with Build 41, a major update released in , the game made a strong comeback. Machete was fun too, and in my assessment felt just right as the common long blade. Spears are relatively very easy to mass produce if you've got the foraging skill and you can't find other good weapons while being very -very- lethal even without the one hit kill mechanic.
See the best melee weapons in Project Zomboid, with the Katana standing out as the top choice for its power and rarity. The best melee weapon in Project Zomboid is the Katana.
You might get lucky by searching the pawn shop, but in your short lifespan in this game, don't bet on getting it. While the damage isn't exactly amazing, and it lacks range, it makes up for it with fast swings and a small amount of knockback. Frequently playing with the strong trait zombies tend to go down easier from pushing, then they do from weapon attacks. It's decent attack power could end up saving you in a bind, but you're better off preserving this tool by using it as a secondary weapon. Rely on the axe for close-quarters combat, as it can strike multiple enemies and even fully kill a zombie in a single blow if you're lucky. Haven't seen either in a while, but that katana was horrifyingly badassed while I was farting around with it. Even a decade after its release, Project Zomboid keeps attracting a horde of new players. They lose durability pretty slowly, except for the stone axe. It's kinda like playing the old Doom II - fun but I know it won't last for long : The lead pipe has also been a good friend but unfortunately it can't be repaired. No other weapon beside spear and short blade instakill is like that. Heavy weapons are great defenders if you're fighting the horde with friends or else picking off stragglers with well-times swings, but they're more likely to leave you vulnerable, which is why this axe ranks lowest. Also just as a side, what guns are worth never using? You would soon find yourself surrounded by a horde. While this weapon's got a pretty mediocre base damage and durability, its fairly light and can be used for insta-kill stab attacks. It's highly durable, and despite the low damage output when used as a one-handed weapon, its fast swings are great for crowd control.
Bravo, magnificent idea and is duly
