We have been working our way through a wide variety of phonics based readers here at our house, progressive phonics, as we complete our first year of homeschooling. The goal for this year has been to get Alice reading. Firstly, I should mention that we send our kids to a progressive phonics kindergarten, where they use the Letterland program to teach phonemic awareness. We love Letterland!
