Cosplaying Misty is very easy and inexpensive and is perfect if you're in a rush for a convention or Halloween costume. Also, this costume is great when paired with someone cosplaying Ash. To first start your costume, you want to find a yellow shirt. A t-shirt works best, but I had an old yellow v-neck t-shirt lying around that I used and it looks just fine. You then want to put the shirt on and mark where you want to cut it with a small line. Using a picture of Misty for reference helps for this part to insure that you get the correct length. After you mark the shirt, take it off, lay it on a flat surface, extend the small line you made earlier with a pencil and ruler and then cut the line you made with a pair of fabric scissors. Take the bottom part of the shirt that you cut off and set it aside. You'll be needing this later. For the jean shorts and red suspenders I recommend shopping online or going to a thrift store if you don't already own them. The best way to make Misty's shoes is to buy a pair of red converse shoes vans or any other red shoes work too, but converse is the most accurate , take the extra yellow shirt fabric and cut out the pattern that's on Misty's shoes out of it. I did this by using a picture of Misty as a reference, folding the bottom of the shirt in half so you have 4 layers , drawing the pattern on the fabric with pencil and then cutting it out. You then can glue this pattern on the shoes. If you want to wear the red shoes for everyday wear without the yellow fabric, I suggest gluing them on with a washable glue.

Misty's hair wonderfully defied gravity when she wore it in a high side ponytail with spiky bangs. It was actually a similar shade to Leeloo's style from The Fifth Element — an awesome bright orange hue. Then, of course, there was Nurse Joy and her many clone-like relatives who all wore that same dusky pink hair color and I'll never forget the ultimate bad girl Jessie of Team Rocket who sported huge, purple locks in a variety of styles when she was undercover. In recent series, however, she pulled an Emma Watson and hacked it all off. Here's what happened. This is my "normal" everyday hair. As you can see, it's long, blonde, and fairly thick.
Togetic After evolving from Togepi, Togetic had a very brief tenure with Misty. It managed to protect a group of Togepi from General Hansen. After doing so, it reluctantly decided to go to the Mirage Kingdom to protect the Togepi left in it from any further excursions. Personality Wise, it still has the mindset of a child, liking to wander off and play. However it started to show its ggressive side when General Hansen started attacking the Mirage Kingdom. It evolved to stop him. Hatched from egg in episode: Who gets to keep Togepi? With its strong attacks, Poliwhirl was a prominent member of Misty's team but wasn't used much out of battles with Team Rocket.

Go to topic listing. It's either a wig or extensions, though I guess they're pretty much the same thing. Verdict: Although it's a very sweet look, I'm not sure if it looks a tad too juvenile. Lastly another one of people theories is how when playing role of mermaid and in princess festival Misty had indeed longer hair letting it grow out and somehow managing to tie it in usual ponytail. Last edited: Jul 28, I've always assumed that it was short during the first few episodes then that was its natural length during misty mermaid. Status Not open for further replies. Plus imagine there would be that famous clothes for misty in shop.

I dont wanna say staff does a bad job lol but its better to have less and more unique than to much options that arent that great diffrence between eachother. Also, the wig should be longer in length since you'll be cutting it after you put it into a side ponytail. Mistys hair: long or short On first appearance it looks like she has a pixie cut type haircut But when she lets her ponytail down its longer. I didn't have a Meowth in hell's chance of replicating gravity-defying hair with just my fair hands, some ribbon, and hair ties, so I created a look inspired by Ursula's awesome locks instead. You can even save the pieces of yellow fabric if you cosplay Misty in the future. As you can see, it totally didn't work because my hair is so thick and half of it fell down almost immediately. But all i find on magic mirror is kinda short hair that looks stiff and boring
