The streets of Rome are an absolute joy. Mr John and I visited Rome on our honeymoon and it blew us away.

Everyone from local students to international movie stars line up outside Baffetto's doors for what just may be the best Roman-style pizza in town. Well, the movies stars don't bother lining up. This is a pizzeria, not a restaurant, so all they do is the traditional Roman crisp, thin-crust pizza. Oh, and you can start with an appetizer of bruschetta, slabs of peasant bread grilled, rubbed with garlic, drizzled with olive oil, topped with chopped tomatoes, and sided with white cannellini beans and mushrooms.

We have been there a late night, it was almost closing, and we got the last round of services. The pizza is very delicious, the dough is very thing but the taste is great as well as the ingredients. Atmosphere inside is cozy, though we We were here for a nice evening with good pizza. In the end we did get a really nice pizza, but the staff was absolutely terrible. We made a reservation for a big table but got three different small ones, and when we asked about Since year from time to time we have had pizzas in Baffetto, because the pizzas has been always so delisious. The wait to get in can be interminable, but then once you finally get a seat the service is quite brusque—all very Roman.
