Part 6: Overview: The Warrens The Warrens Our top-of-the-line sewage structure will ensure the cleanliness of this land Man, its been a long time since I did a proper info-post, so let's talk about the festering pile of disease and awful things known as the Warrens. The focus of this area is on Beast enemies, namely pig-men and carrion feeders, and both of them are rife with awful biological agents. Combat in this zone will mainly involve dealing with all the blight and disease these enemies throw at you, along with a little bit of bleed from the Pig Butcher, so a Plague Doctor is recommended in general but you can also bring a Graverobber to deal with the disease. Enemies here are also susceptible to bleed here; with all these beasts here a Houndmaster is highly recommended since he'll make short work of all the pigs, however classes like the Highwayman, the Hellion, the Jester, and the Bounty Hunter all have good bleeds for exploiting the weaknesses prevalent in this area. Exclusive Enemies : Swine Chopper Threat Level: Medium -I have a hard time classifying threat levels in the Warrens, mainly because with recent updates the other areas feel way more threatening in general and it throws me off. The Swine Chopper is this area's common tanky unit, hogging the front lines with some medium prot levels and some hefty crowd control.

This interactions chart is split into different sections for each game location, includes all curio and provides clear explanations of each potential outcome. In this curio guide I also explore the mechanics of curios in Darkest Dungeon and my personal recommendations for when to activate them without a provision based on my own experiences of overcoming the Bloodmoon difficulty. Curio come in a range of forms and are interactable objects of curious nature that players encounter while on an expedition within rooms and hallways. These include strange altars, library books, fountains, chests, piles of bones and everything in between that has been left behind by past adventurers or part of the scenario environment. The expedition location you select will impact on the curios you encounter which are randomly spawned although some general ones can be found across all locations. Players have the decision to interact with these curio or not and can select provisions from their inventory that may cleanse the curio for an added bonus. If players select the incorrect provision for a curio it will have no effect and once you have discovered the correct provision it will show an icon in your inventory when interacting with that curio underneath that item.
Decorative Urn. The below section details the interactions you can make with each curio and are presented with the following information for each expedition type.

Curios are interactable objects that appear during expeditions. There is a chance of a good or bad event happening by using a curio. Supply items , such as a torch or a key , can be used on them to favorably alter the chances. Curios can be found inside rooms and corridor segments. Different locations contain different kinds of curios, but some varieties are found throughout all types of dungeon. Each room may only contain one curio, while corridor segments can contain more than one. Unlike obstacles , curios do not prevent passage if not activated; it is thus possible to leave them be to minimize risk, especially if there is a lack of correct provision items to trigger their positive effects.

Although you have multiple options for items to use on the Pile of Strange Bones Curio, your best bet will be to use Bandages, as this results in you receiving some items in return. Using Blood will conjure vampire and mosquito enemies from the bones, which no one wants. If no item is chosen, you may earn a small trinket, or incur a bit of damage. Using Holy Water will cause you to incur extra Stress while withering the flowers. Your best bet is to use a Shovel to dig up the Bloodflowers and receive a random treasure item.
