They aim to compel listeners to feel something new with a fusion of industrial noise and shoegaze backed with massive instrumentation, entrancing melodies and emotive lyrics. All embracing the heart of darkness. As if mirroring the nerves of any life debut, the vocal opens with a slight hesitancy but soon the track builds into a confident behemoth of heavy noise. The repeated refrain of "forgive all your trespasses and get down one knee Petrichor is the pleasing smell of rain after a dry spell. If there's a word for what happens after Pious reaches its angry crescendo, I'd love to learn.
