Abstract 8 years of claims data collected by Turkish Agricultural Insurance Pool TARSIM is analyzed to build a portfolio risk management model for internal reporting, reinsurance pricing and actuarial pricing. In order to reduce the dimension of data X 10product specific clusters so called hazard regions for hail, personel hacettepe, frost, flood, personel hacettepe, fire and storm are formed. Layer based spherical clustering methods where the layers are personel hacettepe of location, damage ratio and damage probability are used employing distance based spherical k-means, density based finite mixture von-Mises Fisher and some other clustering techniques embedded in SatScan software. Information obtained from clusters is used to build the loss distribution associated with entire portfolio.

This research aims to analyse the relationship between ethical climate types and job satisfaction in tourism industry. To achive this objective, an empirical study was conducted on hotel business employees in four-star and five-star hotels licensed by the Culture and Tourism Ministry in the city of Nevsehir, Turkey. Results show that caring positively and significantly correlated with job satisfaction. According to correlation analysis, no significant relationships were found between other four dimensions of ethical climate such as law and code, rules, instrumental, and independence and job satisfaction. Regression analysis results showed that caring could explain differences in job satisfaction. Implications of the findings are discussed and avenues for future research are offered.
