And if you wanted to compute this, this would be equal to one over, now, how many ways can you pick three things from 15? So I like reasoning through it like this, but I just showed you this so that you could connect to it a formula that you might see in a lecture or in a class. We can use combinations when order does not matter and permutations when order does matter to find probabilities. Why is 6 x 3 not right to find the number of combinations?
