Also, a mining spot has one in the Eerie Liar part of the disciple trial. The Black Tear is a bit more involved, go to Gallopolis Region use the North Gallopolis camp there make your way to the end of the cave and you will face enemies called Pruslas. They have a chance of dropping Serpent's Soul. Get some of those and then head to Sniflheim castle and talk to Krystalinda. Good luck!
