A new corner shop has opened its doors after replacing a Co-op which had previously been in the premises for more than a century. The Co-op closed its doors on February 3 the building is back in use already - despite there currently being no signage on the outside the building to signal the change in ownership. A worker at the store told the Adver that the shop is going to close again at the beginning of March for three weeks. He said the new owners plan on entirely refurbishing the shop, which includes a installing a new sign, replacing freezers and chillers as well as moving the till area. Hudson Dsouzar, an employee at the new store, explained that the first week had been really positive and that shoppers had been welcoming and friendly.
