The rugged rocks of the Halemaumau Crater or Wailua Falls are no match for these shoes. For as tough and supportive these shoes' soles are, I was pleasantly surprised by their lightweight nature. No matter how lightweight a sneakers claim to be, I always find them a bit chunky; not necessarily a burden, but definitely there. But these Nike's Terra Kiger 8 sneakers felt different. As I was roaming around the Haleakala National Park, I didn't feel like lugging around extra weight on my feet.
