Nightmare Chica is a major antagonist and one of the nightmare animatronics of the Five Nights at Freddy's series, first appearing in Five Nights at Freddy's 4. She is a nightmarish variant of Chica. Nightmare Chica also appears in Dittophobia , the second story of Tales from the Pizzaplex 8 B-7 as one of the secondary antagonists. With the use of hallucinogenic gas, Nightmare Chica becomes a severely deteriorated and extensively modified version of the original Chica animatronic. Although the damages to her upper body are relatively minor, her suit's lower torso is completely severed from her hips.

She is the nightmarish incarnation of Withered Chica. Nightmare Chica is a dirty yellow chicken animatronic with a large jaw featuring 2 sets of teeth. She has metallic eyeballs. Her left eye glows red with a white pupil, while the right is silvery and seemingly inactive.
