November So it looks like EA once again didn't listen to its community and turns out you can NOT turn off the stupid driving effects. I hope EA release an update that allows us to disable these effects like they promised us before launch but considering that EA is anti-consumer i doubt it. But here's my theory as to why you cant do it. They just dont care and will say anything to get you to buy the game. I wont be surprised if this turns out to be another failed release. That being said i did enjoy NFS and Heat, Payback was also good its just the performance tuning that let it down.
