Being a hero is a dangerous profession, after all, and eventually being around so much danger will catch up to them. While some of these heroes died before the story started, all of them died in the line of duty, attempting to save someone or stop some villain from escaping. Some of them valiantly sacrificed themselves, while others were just the victims of misfortune, being in the wrong place at the wrong time. In some cases, their sacrifices helped turn the tide of battle, becoming an essential part of helping good to triumph over evil. Be aware that the list, by its very nature, contains spoilers which go beyond what the My Hero Academia anime has adapted, so read ahead with caution. Death is a part of every life, and shonen series know how to wring them for all the angst they're worth. While My Hero Academia has kept its casualties at a minimum, fans are starting to learn more about those which have passed on, and it was not gentle with one Pro Hero's death. Over in Japan, a special My Hero Academia one-shot went live to honor its first film, and the canon chapter made fans weep almost immediately. She had another Quirk called Float, which allowed her to suspend herself in mid-air. It's unknown whether she was capable of actual flight, or if she merely used her increased strength to leap and remain in the air. This is interesting because if All Might's muscle form isn't a Quirk on its own, then she would be the last known One For All user to have an additional Quirk.
