My name is Mya Bambrick and I am a 17 year old birder, wildlife photographer and trainee bird ringer. I've had a real passion for the natural world, especially birds, since the age of eight. For the last five years I've written my own blog, documenting my experiences with nature alongside photographs that I have taken. Since , I have been a trainee bird ringer, and I'm currently ringing at Cissbury Ring, in Findon. Wildlife photography is another interest of mine and has been ever since I received a camera for my 9th birthday. It allows you to appreciate further how wonderful and precious nature is and capture moments that would otherwise go unnoticed. Recently I've become an ambassador for Pocket Pals which is an app that aims to get children interested in nature through technology.

I must admit I have neglected blogging over the last year or so. We have taken our family pictures with her twice now, and each time she made us all feel so comfortable.
