I have them on my car, but I choose them because I like "this look". Maybe they help abit, but I can't compare - all my cars have them. I have no experience with your model and I am exactly opposite the above about the look, I think mudflaps make any car look bad. They will work of course and reduce the dirt that builds up on the car. If you have winter or all season tyres mud flaps are highly recommended because these type of tyres V shaped tread does make the car twice as dirty as if you drive on standard summer tyres. I have the official Toyota mud flaps. My gut feel is they are reasonably effective. I always have them fitted on any car I own. I had them added as part of a protection pack when I bought the car. Good luck with finding any now though. My dealer says that all mudflaps, for all models, are no longer available. No date is given for any expected return.
