I never would have anticipated the way these Bratz look alikes would mold my dolly world when I first learned of their existence in But as I reflect on these past eight years as an adult doll collector, I can see how they were slowly leaving a mark on me, even in those early days. In the years I had stepped away from my dolly hobby, there had been a time when Bratz were almost erased. MGA designed Moxie Girlz as a substitute, but kept the line around even when Bratz had secured their place on the market again. But in many ways, they mean almost as much to me, and without them, the course of my journey would have been altered.

The Moxie dolls do indeed have regular feet : Nice reveiw as always! Amorie is my favorite! I think that's a good idea, Steph. I had a similar thought--especially because the Chelsea clothes fit pretty well. Amorie definitely deserves a better outfit! Neve is my favorite, probably because the blonde hair and the dirty marks make her look vulnerable xD. I agree! That Neve is so sweet. It's interesting how her face gives off such a different personality than the others, isn't it? I cant believe it! My name is Amore and there a doll called Amorie!!! Im totally buying that doll now! Also great reveiws you always do a great job!

I also use it to apply blush to the cheeks. Phase 2, Step 8: Paint the lips and eye reflections I use a paint retardant to thin my acrylic paints out. It gives her a bit of sass. Take a quick break from the eyes to draw the outline of the lips and then fill them in. I will investigate!! These little Moxie Girlz certainly have attitude! The seller offered to give us a bundle deal for the goods, so of course we pounced on it. And a mini Pullip :. Still so behind but I agree that Neve and Amorie are very cute! Put a movie on. You can seal more or less often depending on your preferences.

Maybe it didn't sell well enough and these girls are like the leftovers from what could have been. Very large shiny white spots, basically. Although I grabbed Tally off the shelf first, and assumed that her red hair and freckles would make her my favorite, it's actually Amorie and Neve who I like the best. Also a great shot of the messiest workspace ever. If you want to start work on your doll instead of planning out the eyes on paper, make sure the doll is properly prepared to be repainted. TV, Print and Radio advertising began in September Heat them up with hot water, push down on the head, and pop them off. August saw the release of a collaboration between Moxie Girlz and burger king. First I use a dark brown watercolor pencil to get the rough outline of the eyes down. The second doll I chose from this series is Neve, because there is just something pleading and dear about her face Her outfit was also missing many components, which made poor Avery seem extra pitiful.
