This phone is a basic phone or very very entry smartphone but can do more things then most flip phones can.

Generally, we are pleased with both the ergonomics of the Motorola V8 and the solid feel of the device. Its shape and dimensions make it nice to talk on, too. However, we did notice a minor flaw and it concerns opening the clamshell single-handedly. There is no recess where you can rest your finger to open the flip. Additionally, given the polished metal casing, the handset somewhat easily slips off your fingers.

The Motorola RAZR2 sports a new outfit for this holiday season, with a limited series of handsets coming with a gold-plated body and soft snake-skin-like back. The new bling-bling style would most definitely magnetize fashionistas. A 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth and up to 2GB of integrated memory complete the set of features. The device has some stunning accessories though, such as the Motorola H Bluetooth headset with 18 carat gold-plated accents and a matching patent leather carrying case. Although the idea of a pink design is credited to Carphone Warehouse founder Charles Dunstone, he credits it to a member of his team who had observed there was a strong male bias in Razr sales data, which at the time was only offered in silver and black variants. It is rumoured that Carphone Warehouse went on to sell approximately 3 million units of the Pink Razr V3 in total. Colour matching the pink paint used on the anodized aluminium chassis of the Razr with the plastic battery cover proved very problematic and although very similar, the colours never perfectly matched as can be seen in the picture of the unit owned by the Mobile Phone Museum. Ease of Use Takes many cues from old razrs so it is similar for anyone of the 2 million original razr v3 users. There are many things that people like about these phones. One thing i like about this phone is the advantage you get from texting. Ease of use is one of the things that drew me to this phone. The keyboard has even, but rather soft white backlighting, which is not of much use. Motorola V8 held in hand With dual display handsets we've seen enough small external displays boasting thousands of colors but offering dismal legibility. I'm just finally buying a new phone because after much abuse from me, the back panel that holds the battery in keeps falling off and the battery life has decreased a lot. Also contains funtions such as a calculator, calender, alarm clock and world clock which is pretty cool.

Not Vodacom!!!! My mom use to have one and it was pink and awesome. I have had three of them. Only downside is it can be tricky to open the screen because the gap is so small. I have to use my fingernails to press the keyboard and now the numbers and letters are slowly being worn off. The only problem that I had with this phone is that it is delicate and I dropped it on the wood floor and the screen imploded. There are many things that people like about these phones. When you send a text message you wait for a reply so he good thing about this phone is that once you recive a text message you can read it from the screen of the closed phone by simply pressing ok on the screen to view. Ease of use is one of the things that drew me to this phone. I would recommend this if you could find one at a decent price the applications are great. The folding mechanism works like a charm though: the hinge holds softly and evenly to ensure a smooth flip open. Skinny and slim able to carry anywhere without trouble.
