Welcome to Crescent Moon Psychiatry! It has always been my goal to care for others, and I have found that psychiatry allows me to truly understand another person, thus allowing me to provide a holistic level of care. Since then, I have had the unique experiences of working at a psychiatric emergency department, an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting, and an intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment program. This has provided me with experience in treating an array of mental health needs and treatment modalities. In my practice, I view medication as only one of the many tools to helping improve your mental health. My goal is to work with you and to understand your needs, while encouraging you to advocate for yourself in all areas of treatment. I follow evidence-based recommendations, and always encourage engagement in ongoing therapy in combination with any medication routine we may decide upon.

A Cook County jury on Friday convicted the wife of a Chicago police officer on charges connected to a Lyons drunken driving crash that killed two women.
