She had a bag slung to her side, and her right arm was wrapped with a bandage from above her elbow to just below her wrist. In her flashbacks, she was shown to be far livelier and had an excited and happier expression.

My Hero Academia is known for its impressive rogue gallery, as it boasts an expansive line-up of fleshed-out villains with profound backstories. In the midst of these recurring names is Lady Nagant, a hero-turned-villain corrupted by the dark side of hero society. Her backstory is rather significant as it not only reveals her villainous roots but also delves into how an organization meant for maintaining peace is behind such bloodshed and evil. Lady Nagant started off as an aspiring hero, with the goal of maintaining peace and protecting society. The President offered her a position within the HPSC, taking responsibility for training her and evolving her Rifle quirk. However, Lady Nagant was met by horror as she was tasked with taking down other heroes within the Hero Commission. These atrocities acquainted her with both the greed instilled in heroes and the underhanded tactics of the commission. In a bid to gain rewards and fame, some heroes would purposely incite violence or hire criminals to make a scene. Instead of publicly addressing these issues, the president of the HPSC tasked Lady Nagant with taking down these hero delinquents. However, the incessant killing of heroes and villains alike slowly chipped away at her mental health, leading to hallucinations of blood and death. After being on the verge of losing her sanity, Lady Nagant confronted the president of the HPSC, asking him if the death of these heroes would solve anything. Lady Nagant refused to acknowledge his vision, as it was clear as day that the president only viewed people as nothing more than pawns that could be discarded. Lady Nagant could have easily been sentenced to death, yet the new president took pity on her as she was aware of the atrocious missions of her predecessor. After All For One caused a riot in Tartaros, he offered Lady Nagant a position within his ranks since the two had goals that aligned to some extent. She was never too fond of All For One, and she was tasked with killing him at one point, though she had to put her biases aside, since All For One was her gateway to breaking the status quo.
The Hellish Todoroki Family, Part 2. She reached the conclusion that the HPSC were hypocritical and gave a false sincerity of preserving a heroic society while knowing the truth behind their actions.

Warning: Spoilers for My Hero Academia Season 6, Episode 21 The long-awaited My Hero Academia battle between Deku and Lady Nagant has finally arrived in the anime, and its animated adaptation has finally cleared up something, although the answer really only raises further questions. When Deku is fighting Lady Nagant , she fires several shots at him over the course of their confrontation. At one point, she fires a very special bullet--one that has a speaker in it. Through these speakers she's effectively mounted around Deku, she's able to explain her past and how she came to be in this situation in a way that he can hear, without the two needing to be face-to-face. While this seems like it might be an invention of the anime, there are actually panels in the manga which show a speech bubble coming from a bullet, suggesting this really is just a power of hers. While this explanation of the bullets with embedded speakers is much clearer in the anime than in the manga, where it only is relevant in two small panels of chapter , it really only raises a lot more questions. Is My Hero Academia's Lady Nagant able to embed anything she wants into a bullet so long as it can still fit in her barrel? If so, could that be used to create, say, explosive rounds? Or, did she come planning to deliver her backstory to Deku, and brought these along specifically for that reason?
