From their first appearance, they played no other role than lackeys to Toralei, being as scheming and cruel as she can be. They mentioned that sometimes, they go along with another's plans without considering the consequences, or perhaps not even caring. Like Toralei, they live life on the edge, but they also take time to enjoy the simpler pleasures. They also hate when they are treated like they don't have a mind of their own, whether they're being compared to each other, or as lackeys to another monster. Meowlody appears is the dominant one of the two, dragging Purrsephone into schemes she has second thoughts on. Meowlody also has little care for whether others view her as an individual or an interchangeable twin, while Purrsephone is eager to find means by which others could never mistake her for her sister again. Just like Toralei, Purrsephone and Meowlody are Werecats: they are humans who transform into humanoid cats, panthers or tigers.

There are still a few spots and bits of hair on their faces, but I'll see which of those I can get off with a cloth once they've been freed from the box. Not only did I loose the definition of the stripes, I'm loosing the stripes. I love her lip color and her hairstyle. Easy to want just one more. Yet, upon inspection we see that the left knee on the M from this box doesn't bend. Remember how I said Howleen was too Halloween? The bangs are very stiff and have some yellow goop on the very tips. The other had no MH dolls at all and the second place had only 4 boxes of the Sweet line, one Skull Shores Ghoulia and one Toralei. I have nothing to loose--no one gets disappointed if I can't find a particular doll, and I get a huge rush when I find something "rare. Well, you'd think there would be a similar problem with this outfit, but the skirt is a deeper orange, and it's pretty much the only orange, and so I think it works. Anyway--the glove is painted nicely, showing a little bit of grey wrist on the bottom of the hand. Interesting review again! Does that big clump of striped hair break apart into smaller clumps? Both: Home-Ick-Ms. Same with the dolls and Dead Tired. Easy to want just one more. I grabbed the Toralei and asked the staff if they are getting new dolls soon, and they said they don't know. Skull Shores is a very nice, relatively inexpensive group of dolls. The dolls are so hard to find, getting a bad one must be such a disappointment! April W.
