Hotel was close to shutting down for season end so reception was locked. Breakfast was worst so far in Italy and this was the most expensive hotel. It is a long steep climb up from the town to reach this hotel, although that does mean that there is a view. May be better for those driving than for travellers reliant on public transport. Due to unforeseen circumstances I arrived in Como a few days prior than I had initially scheduled and found this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the cost and amazing location, oh and I had a breath taking view from the terrace in my room!
