High School , training to become a Pro Hero. Mashirao is a muscular young man with short blond hair swept to the front of his head. He has thin eyes with no lower eyelashes. Unlike the other students in his class, he wears pale gray sneakers with his school uniform instead of the brown dress shoes worn by everyone else, and he has the bottom button of his blazer he leaves casually undone. Due to his Quirk, he also has a tail, which is entirely hairless, save for the tip.

Mashirao Ojiro , known professionally as the Martial Arts Hero: Tailman or simply Tailman , is a supporting character in the Japanese superhero manga series My Hero Academia and its anime television series adaptation of the same name. He is one of the students in Class 1-A at U. High School, who is training to become a Pro Hero. Ojiro appears to have olive skin and short blond hair. His mutant-class quirk gives him an extra appendage-- a tail. The tail also has bushy, brown hair on it's end. His hero outfit looks almost identical to a karetegi , with a black belt complementing it. He also has black boots and sometimes blue gloves.

Mashirao uses his tail to run the meter dash. At the end of the test, he placed seventh. Mashirao is teamed with Toru Hagakure as Team I.
