MAC lipsticks are among my favourites and Mac kinda sexy dark skin always reach for them no matter what the occasion! I am a massive fan of nude lipsticks in particular so I thought I'd swatch and review my absolute favourites, as well as show how each of them look on the lips on paler skin as some of these lipsticks give off a completely different colour on different skin tones.

DUDE, the world is your oyster when it comes to nude lipsticks. I mean, there are so many out there, right? MAC has created so many iconic colors — colors that everybody rips off. Clearly, I never got around to it…not to mention, there is a small difference between Captive and Amorous. Captive is on the warmer pink side, while Amorous is more cool-toned. Captive is a pinkish-plum color with a satin finish that I reach for when I want a little flush of color without opting for a bold lip. Before Whirl, Twig was my all-time favorite. Twig is a soft brownish pink shade, suitable for a variety of skin tones.

Kinda sexy has a matte finish which I actually find quite hard to pull off. All of my favourite MAC lipsticks are either Cremesheens or Amplified Cremes which are much easier to wear as they are a little more moisturizing. As this is a matte shade, it really does stick to any dry patches of skin on your lips and enhances them, so make sure you scrub and moisturize your lips before hand. The colour itself is gorgeous, a natural warm pink, but I find it is a little too dark for a natural lipstick on my pale skin. I imagine this would look at incredible on tanned or Asian skin tones, but for me, I feel like I look like a Pamela Anderson wannabe with her brown lip liner and lipstick but not in a good way see below! First off, the color I have finally found my perfect nude lippie. I'm someone who can't normally pull off nudes without looking washed out, this one is not too pale, not too This is my go to lip product and I reach for this when I can't decide what colour to use! It is a peachy pink on my lips which looks natural. A little bit drying though but lovely colour so I don't This is a beautiful universal lipstick based on warm neutral color for matte lips lovers.

Oh wow, this is a really beautiful peachy nude that works best with fair-light to medium skin tones any darker and it will look very washed out and concealery. It works great as a sexy nude lip Love this lipstick so much! It was the second lipstick I ever got from MAC and have been using it ever since, It's not nude to the fact where it's pale, it's kind of like a dark peachy colour, I It's different from the other nudes. It's a peachy pink color with brown in it which gives it the nice nude look. I find other nudes like Faux which are A beautiful color, love it! I think it looks horrible on my lips.

Whenever I drop by their store, I usually just look at the new collections which are most of the time, limited items. So I checked out the testers for their permanent lipsticks. Plus, you know how I get tired of a shade easily and end up selling them or giving them away, only to find myself buying the same shade again after a few months.
