Lumber Tycoon is a tycoon based game on Roblox created on October 23, , by Defaultio. The goal of the game is to cut down trees, take them back to your sawmill and sell your cut planks to Home Depot. By selling your planks you gain money to upgrade your chainsaw, along with your home base. The game has a little over 10 million visits and was featured in a game review by Maxxz. The game is under the All genre.

Lumber Tycoon 2 is the sequel to the classic Lumber Tycoon. It had 10, online players on the first day of release, for hours. While the place was created on July 31, , the game went into development late May when Defaultio took part in Roblox's first Accelerator program. The objective of the game is to chop trees, sell wood, and purchase items and equipment. There are vehicles to purchase and you can buy a sawmill to increase the value of your planks. The game has controller support as well, one of the leaders in this innovation there are some secret locations too. The game has many areas to explore, such as the Volcano, Taiga, and Maze. Players have the ability to create and customize their own unique structures that they can build on their land. There are many types of trees in the game.
