Luggage allowance on princess cruises
I want to start packing for our cruise since we sail in less than 3 weeks. What are some of the restrictions on what to bring? I know not to smuggle alcohol, weapons, luggage allowance on princess cruises, and drugs on board as it doesn't apply to us anyways. Thank you.

Does anyone know the maximum weight per bag that Princess allows? Officially, I don't believe there are any weight limits. Keep in mind that folks with higher airline status or flying in business have limits of 70 lbs, not 50, at least on Air Canada. I also don't think Princess have weight limits, beyond the sizing rule that luggage has to fit within the X-ray machines. I know Carnival has a recommendation for a 50 lb limit per bag, but that's just a recommendation and wasn't and isn't binding. I haven't looked too hard at the other cruise lines, but I don't think any have hard and fast limits on bag weights. I am not aware of any restriction by Princess. You are more constrained by airline regs, if you fly. There is no limit on the number of pieces of luggage that are at the weight. On Air Canada at least, pax with the appropriate status are allowed up to 70 lbs for each individual bag, not total. Please read what I posted.
