Back in late , Lucy Arnold aka Lucy Locket , founder, owner, and all-round legging superwoman of Lucy Locket Loves posted a competition to find someone with a budding business idea. One rainy afternoon I entered that competition I already had the trademark, the website domain was secured, I had a couple of hoodies and some labels but that was about it! Never in a million years did I think I would win, so many people entered and I knew Lucy would be swamped going through all the entries. Lucy got in touch with me asking for some more information, so I sent over my design ideas and a vague outline of a business plan. We chatted back and forth a bit but I knew she was speaking to loads of other entrants. Then one day an email came through from Lucy

Hi there, I had decided to treat myself to some nice bright loungewear and had a nice little basket waiting to be checked out. I googled lucylocketloves before checking out, and found some terrible reviews, mainly about the quality of the items. Has anyone any experience recently? It's this website locketloves. I got some leggings from there last year just at the start of lockdown. The quality was awful and the overall experience - from delivery to trying to get a refund was not great. I noticed there had been a flurry of good reviews lately. The owner has developed something of a cult following, any perfectly polite, honest, but negative feedback on the products is not handled well. I like their lounge wear trousers, I have three pairs. Been through the wash quite a lot and are still fine.
