It is absolutely magical and yet it's gritty too. Italy is a destination I have always wanted to travel, and how could you not with all the culture present in the cities. Though love and gelato are a major part of this book it's also about finding yourself, your true family and friends and your mother's mysterious romances before you came into existence, while at the same time realizing that it's not necessary to always go by the book.
